Microsoft Office 2007 - Basic

Microsoft has released eight different versions of microsoft office 2007, ranging from a single edition that contains only three applications to advanced packaging contains 10 applications.

The eight versions of Microsoft Office 2007 - Basic, Home & Student, Standard, Small Business, Business, Ultimate, Professional Plus and Enterprise - everyone has Word and Excel. (Note that the simplest version of Office 2007, Basic is only available to equipment manufacturers and not the general public.)

Basic, Standard, Professional Plus and Microsoft Outlook mail client included. PowerPoint is omitted in the basic edition.

Microsoft also has added two new applications of some of the 2007 Office. Groove, a collaboration tool, on an equal footing is only available in high-end Ultimate and Enterprise. Meanwhile, the OneNote note-taking program - previously only available as a standalone product - can now be found in the Home and Student, Ultimate and Enterprise. Otherwise, the applications included in Office 2007 may vary depending on the package you choose.

What new features in Office 2007?

While Groove and OneNote are the only two new applications were added to the 2007 Office suite, Microsoft has made significant changes and added new features to a number of other Office applications.

The change affects the largest and most notable of the user interface. Microsoft has abandoned the traditional menu found in the earlier Office programs for the benefit of a design that can appeal to the band. Rather than requiring the user to scroll through multiple menu trees, the blue ribbon interface (which can be changed either black or silver) organizes all the options under one of his legs a few basic principles, click a tab, a range of tools.
